	Logical...fallacies  May 18, 2007
Specious reasoning; either/or propositions; selective quotes; misunderstandings of atheism and references from fringe scholars or creationist literature. Interesting from the point of seeing logical fallacies like the lists of pre evolution theory scientists who did not hold to a theory that had not been invented yet; statements that a peach has been fossilized from the 19th century therefore it follows fossilization is a recent process; but not interesting for much else. One of the Phd's stated on the front cover is honorary and both writers have no education in evolution. One is a Christian Camp founder and the other teaches public health and policy. Far from evolution not been able to take the heat. This book demonstrates the paper thin reasoning for creationism.

The authors do a great job of collecting a large amount of secular data from scientists from around the globe to refute evolution. They provide a great deal of data in a small number of pages. Plus, it is easily accessible for those who don't have a background in science. This is an excellent introduction into the refuting the distortions, dishonesty and hoaxes that are the foundation of evoltuion. Another similar read is Hanegraaff's book The FACE that demonstrates the farce of evolution.

This book is short, but it's still sweet. Dr. White and Dr. Comninellis have put together an impressive amount of info and reasoning into a relatively small space. The best parts for me were reading Darwin's documented doubts about his own theory. As well as the statements of several other noted scientist in the evolution camp referring to the shortcomings of the theory. Basically, if you are a believer in a designer, this book will give you a better understanding of the theory of evolution. If you aren't you'll no doubt say that most of it is made up or false. The theory of evolution cannot be proven or disproved completely. Unless you were standing there at the beginning of time and witnessed the creation, to say otherwise is a lie. Likewise, while creation can never be totally proven (except by God), neither can it be disproved. It is a debate that will rage until the destruction of the human race. Then we will all find out the truth. This book will show a compelling argument for intelligent design, and major flaws in the evolutionary design the rest is up to faith.

After reading Darwin's Demise for a Biology class, I saw Darwin's demise and why evolution can't take the heat. Dr. Joe White and Dr. Nicholas Comninellis discussed key points to why macroevolution has very little proof while Intelligent Design, however, does. I thought this book was excellent and easy to follow. It points out the fallacies in the theory of evolution. it also shows how scientific evidence that we do have leads back to God as Creator. Darwin's Demise is great and taught me new ways to evaluate evolution using scientific evidence.

Well written, engaging and will open many eyes to the lie of evolution. In 177 pages, it touches on origin of life, DNA complexity, what the geology of our world says about Earth's age and history, and fossil evidence that points to creation. The bogus evolution theory is a rotting, dead corpse. It's been dead and rotting for some time now, with fools who continually insist on throwing make-up on it and squirting it with disenfectant to keep it presentable. It's dead, folks. Those who continually insist otherwise never present evidence to the contrary, they just name call and belittle believers as idiot fundamentalists. Here's a challenge--Anyone who wants to paint this book as lacking evidence in proving evolution is a lie, give evidence why this is so. Answer just one of the numerous questions this book claims evolutionists CAN NOT answer. You won't be able to. Not unless you come up with a fairy-tale answer with no scientific evidence. It's time Christians start waking up and fighting for souls. Satan isn't shy about dragging people into Hell, Christians shouldn't be shy about fighting for the Kingdom of God with truth. Evolution and Christianity cannot be married. Theistic evolution is just as much of a lie as atheistic evolution. Why? Because it undermines the entire Gospel. The Gospel states the truth that through Adam's sin, all of mankind fell out of an eternal relationship with God. God repaired that broken relationship through the Pure, Holy Blood of Jesus Christ. Those who accept Jesus as their Lord and repent of their sinful past will be washed in His Blood, which will sanctify them forever. With theistic evolution, what is the point of Jesus' work on the cross? If we all started as goo in a primordial pool, we didn't fall, we leaped. The whole Holy Bible would be a sham. God would have lied to us about our beginnings, which would make him unholy. Which means we can't trust Him. Which means it doesn't matter what we do, because our God is an unstable God. Listen, folks. We can trust Him. His Word is true and eternal. It's never been disproven and never will be. Listen to what He says in Romans 1:22-25. "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools. And changed the Glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man, and to birds and four footed beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves. WHO CHANGED THE TRUTH OF GOD INTO A LIE, AND WORSHIPPED AND SERVED THE CREATURE MORE THAN THE CREATOR, WHO IS BLESSED FOREVER, AMEN." This happened back then, when these words were first written, and God knew it would happen again. This time, using the lie of evolution. Apes aren't our ancestors, and no one is sinless. We need a savior. We have one. Jesus, our Lord.
