Reviews - What do customers think about Covenant Child (Women of Faith Fiction)?
 | Heart felt Nov 12, 2007 |
Covenant Child (Women of Faith Fiction #4) Great book, modern story similar to the one of the Bibles Prodigal son. Great for an easy read, will touch your heart. This story touched my heart and made me think of all the times i was like either one of these girls going through tough times while their inheritance was at their finger tips. | | | | A Touching Read Aug 12, 2007 |
| I must admit that when I first started this book, I thought it was going to be one of those overly-simplified, pit-pat books that lack any real depth. The read seemd to be too quick, too simple. I was wrong. By the second chapter, I was deeply invested in the outcome, and as I read on, I saw a wonderful picture of God's grace played out before my very eyes. By the final pages of the book, I was in tears. I'm so thankful that I chose Lizzie's path in my own life, that I accepted my inheritance gladly. But I'm also thankful that, like Amanda, God continues to offer his grace and forgiveness, and that the Karas of the world are always welcome home. | | | | Great Book Aug 7, 2007 |
| I loved this book. I couldn't put it down. Normally a very slow reader, I read this book in 3 days. | | | | I absolutely LOVED this book! Jul 19, 2006 |
| I am so excited to have found a new author to read. Terri Blackstock's book the Covenant Child had me from the first page. It is a book about love, death, money, greed, grace, faith, and trust. Amanda's character in the book reminded me of the Lord and the unconditional love He pours out on His children even when we want nothing to do with Him and the happiness we can find in life by studying His Word and following Him. I recommend this book to everyone who enjoys a good read---just be prepared to have to read it straight through. | | | | WRITE A LITTLE FASTER TERRI May 29, 2006 |
| I read this book in a day. It was so good and touching. It makes you think about kids out there are treated like this everyday. I shed some tears it was so good. I've read alot of Blackstock and she gets better every time I read the next one. | | | Write your own review about Covenant Child (Women of Faith Fiction)
