Ahhh Starfield. One band I can say is not hokey, boring, bland, and overdone. Their melodies are great, they know how to play their instruments. They have true vocal talent.. YOU CAN ACTUALLY HEAR THE GUITAR PARTS.
It gets so annoying with so many christian worship bands that are out today that play WEAK guitars. Not only do they play weak guitars, they oversaturate their sound with boring lyrics, predictable 4-chord melodies, and "God love songs" complete with instruments that are mixed so there is no punch or dynamic to it.
Luckily Starfield is no such band. They do truly have rock elements in their music, unlike most other christian artists, they use good effects and they pour their all into their music. You can tell that many of the vocal parts are from the heart, not necessarily pre-written, and that is a mark of good vocalists. The harmonies will definitely grab you, while songs like "One Man Revolution" and "Ordinary Life" will provide enough rock for you. Also, "Over My Head" is probably one of my favorite worship songs even though it uses elements found in other worship.
Sadly, the tracks from the newer CD do not sound as innovative, and that is a shame, but I got this first CD over 3 years ago and I still play it quite often when I need some worship that talks about non-saccharine REAL life issues and dealings with my Christian walk. The songs are very relateable and catchy. Lastly, the album feels like a complete album. Seriously. It flows very well from start to finish.
If you're a Christian who can't stand annoying worship bands who don't know how to create innovative, different music, but still want some softer music than harder rock, you should give this CD a listen. If you only listen to hard rock and can't stand soft worship music, then give this CD a chance. You may enjoy it, despite all prejudgement.
If you're a Christian who loves most worship music (ugh), then this CD will sound like one of the best CDs you've ever listened to b/c it soars way above those other artists.

This cd is my favorite for an introspective night alone. The lyrics are wonderfully humble and worshipful and the melodies are great.

If you don't have this album and a fans of artists like casting crowns, Chris timlin or Jeremy camp I really think you will love these guys! Such a good album I like every song.

I have listened to this CD countless times. Every single song in this CD is absolutely amazing. Even my non-beleiver friends love Starfield!! These guys have unreal talent. Buy this CD, and you will NOT be sorry!!

This cd was purchased for my teenage daughter, she and the youth group from our church saw this group in concert and loved it.
