Starfield had achieved their best radio success to date (#5 CHR ?Everything Is Beautiful?), scanned over 40,000 units in HALF the time their debut achieved the same scans, and had their best touring season in their six year history?to say the least, they?re gaining momentum. With their new album, I Will Go, Starfield takes their message to the world with a global missions focus and worshipful songs that will play on AC radio as well as Sunday morning worship. Starfield will tour with Shane & Shane in the U.S. and Canada (February?May) as well as overseas to Africa, Southeast Asia, and Europe. The first AC/CHR single, ?Hosanna? (a Hillsong United penned song) goes for adds in January.

This is my new favorite CD! Great worship songs, well-crafted lyrics and harmonies, and excellent electric guitars. I will probably buy the rest of Starfield's albums soon. I could have downloaded the songs in mp3 form for the same price, but I have a weak spot for album jackets...I love to read the lyrics while the song is playing, and the liner notes to see which musicians contributed and who wrote the songs. So for me it's worth paying $.50 extra for the CD just to get the jacket. A little disappointed that both sides of the jewel case were cracked, probably due to the thin packing material it was shipped in.

This is one of the good ones I got this year. The album starts and ends beautifully, leaving you feeling God's presence throughout. I can't believe they're Canadian. Most of the Canadian bands I know put in commercial and worship sings in an album. I'm very impressed with this one. Bawl my eyes out everytime!

I've been listening to Starfield since my fiend introduced me to them several years ago. Definitely a new sound in worship... I think that this cd is their best!

It is what I feared would happen. A review from another site hit the mark when they said that Starfield took what was great and went with that instead of making new sounds. The songs are good, much of the same kind of sound and feeling you'll hear in other bands albums. Don't get me wrong i like loud guitars and upbeat worship, but when set continuously, one after the other without a soft piano or acoustic guitar to settle the loud praise, it gets a little over done, and i mean tiring. What i mean to say is, they sound like most other bands. If you want to buy the album go ahead, or you can buy songs from Itunes or this site. My choices: I Will Go (Of course) and Hosanna. Both are great songs

Very good music with strong Christian lyrics Dec 13, 2008
I Will Go I am a 40-something who wants to enjoy and share "with it" Christian music with my kids. This is one of the best CD's I found yet for that purpose. Really like that the music is good and the lyrics are not weak and wishy-washy like many others.
