Community Description Crafting songs that make this happen was the goal with Whispered and Shouted, the follow-up album to Aaron Shust's chart-topping debut Anything Worth Saying. A life-long churchgoer, Shust grew up in Pittsburgh, where he started playing piano at 7. As a teenager, Aaron learned to play the guitar and was influenced by the sounds of the sixties and Motown. Attending Toccoa Falls College, Shust studied music theory, developed an aptitude for the likes of Bach and Mozart, and soaked in the sounds of more recent masters like his favorite band U2. These contemporary influences come to bear on Whispered and Shouted. It's an exploration of new musical territory for what is at its heart another praise and worship album.

Reviews - What do customers think about Whispered And Shouted?
This is a good album again by a promising young man of worship! Jul 9, 2009
I just preordered Aaron Shust's latest album take over because I believe this guy has potential to keep on writing songs that glorify and praise our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I admit like several reviwers from this album Whispered and Shouted and Anything Worth Saying that it did also take me a few listens of both albums to get where he was coming from and his message in his songs. But as soon as I did, I'll tell you...it caught on me. 'Give Me Words To Speak' and 'My Savior My God' were probably the two songs that really drew me in to Aaron Shust. After hearing them on Klove, I knew I had to check him out. As long as this young rising artist doesn't sellout as several in the Christian music industry appear to be doing these days, he will be greatly blessed by God in the years to come. I'd recommend getting this album along with his debut 'Anything Worth Saying' especially if you want to hear the Completed Version of Give me words to speak. That's the only one I didn't quite understand is why he only put a 17 second sample of a song on his debut that actually isn't fully released till his second album???
Great Album! I would recommend it! Apr 11, 2009
Got the digital download version and have been listening to it for weeks on end. Comes with lots of great songs.

I purchased this item as a gift for my daughter. She liked it very much!
Love it, Love it, Love it!! Aug 8, 2008
I thoroughly enjoyed "Anything Worth Saying," so I was very excited to find a new release from Mr. Shust. For me, the thing that affects me the most are his lyrics. When I'm singing along with these tracks, I am moved into an attitude of worship and thankfulness. My favorites include "The Name of Jesus" "Worthy/All I Do" and "Long Live the King". One thing I especially love is that stories behind each song are included in the liner notes. Try reading those stories and not being affected by them!! Enjoy this great cd!
Excellent repeat Jul 5, 2008
After buying Aaron Shust's first CD I thought this one would probably be lacking. The first CD was one of those that I can truly say I liked every song on it. His sophmore effort seems to have the same overall sound and excellent recording, production and lyrical content that the first recording had. The first 2 songs really rock and the 3rd would be a great addition to any worship leaders list. We also hear the completion of "Give me words to speak" which is excellent as well. There are also song stories for each song which show a depth and integrity that is hard to find these days. Can't wait for the next one!
