Reviews - What do customers think about Top Dawg: Mark Richt and the Revival of Georgia Football?
 | Great Book For UGA & Non-UGA Fans Jan 1, 2009 |
| The Book is written for everyone to read. It is interesting, colorful, and thoughtful. I have already read through the book 3 times and will continue to read it until next year begins! | | | | Dawg fans!! Dec 24, 2008 |
| If you're a Dawg fan and/or a Mark Richt fan this is a must have. | | | | Mark Richt really is the Top Dawg Nov 3, 2008 |
| This is a great book for fans of Mark Richt -- and I consider myself to be among his biggest fans, so I loved this book. The author captures very well the frustration that Georgia fans felt for so many years prior to the arrival of Richt -- as well as the elation at the success of the team since his arrival. It really is a great book, and I highly recommend it. Incidentally, while this book does a great job portraying our current coach and what he means to Bulldog fans everywhere, I just read another book that includes the entire history of Georgia football -- and by entire history, I mean just that. This book covers everything in a very unique format, and if you like Georgia football, or know someone who does, then you should definitely pick up this book as well: UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA FOOTBALL: An Interactive Guide to the World of Sports (Sports by the Numbers) | | | | An excelent read! Oct 3, 2008 |
| Rob Suggs has crafted an excellent book about the paths Mark Richt and the Georgia Bulldogs have traveled over the last 30 years. Top Dawg will hold an honored space on my bookshelf right next to Glory! Glory! and Clean Old Fashioned Hate. This is a must read for all of Bulldog Nation. I'd also recommend purchasing extra copies to give as Christmas gifts for Tech neighbors and coworkers, that they might see the error of their ways (or if nothing else have yet another reminder of 7 in a row and 51-7). | | | | Top Dawgs tells the full story! | I just got up from reading "Top Dawgs" by Rob Suggs. I was given a copy to review so here it goes. By the way ,Craig from Commerce won the additional copy. This book brought back the memories from the past few years of Georgia football under Mark Richt. I had forgotten how bad of shape the program was in before Richt got to Athens. They even had in state recruits clownig them on their way to Tennesse. I did not realize how popular Ray Goff was in the beginning of his tenure as Head Coach. All I remember was people calling for his head at the end! I really learning about Richt's early career and how he came to be a Head Coach rather than an NFL QB. I call it like I see it & I see this as a really good book that will be enjoyed by any Dawg fan. Also any college football fan will appreciate the book. | | | Write your own review about Top Dawg: Mark Richt and the Revival of Georgia Football
