| I was loaned this Bible when I first entered the recovery process. The same person gave me my own for Christmas. While I am usually very much a King James version guy I must say that I enjoy this translation. This Bible is full of special features relating to scripture as applied to recovery from drugs and alcohol. I am still very much confused as to my concept of what God really is but find that I learn a great deal from the commentary. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I believe it strays too far from the concept of a God of our own understanding. This is understandable however considering it IS a Christian Bible. Very much recommended! | | | Write your own review about NLT2 Life Recovery Bible-SC
