Item description for Five-Two Television by KJ-52...
Album DescriptionFive time Dove winner KJ-52 is back with his astounding new record, "Five-Two Television". Gathering influence from multiple genres, KJ and a wonder-team of producers and engineers (Aaron Sprinkle: Anberlin, The Almost/ David Bendeth- Paramore/ JR McNeely- Jeremy Camp, Kutless) have created a fierce sound that shatters all expectations. KJ-52 has become one of the most trusted names in music as a songwriter, producer, minister, and comic poet, in spite of many seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Most have said these things cannot be combined at all, let alone form an equation for success. But KJ has grown more than accustomed to facing his nay sayers head on.

Great buy! Apr 22, 2010
Great music with a great message for my teenage son and the price was right! Shipping was quick, too.
The best and brightest Mar 12, 2010
This is the best hip-hop album I've heard from this decade. I love every song on it (which is extremely rare for me). Overall, it sounds a lot like Eminem but catchier and much, much cleaner. It's inspired and inspiring. My favorite song is Fuego, which has a catchy Spanish undercurrent to it.
Dud Dec 12, 2009
I was excited to see Eminem reinvent himself under a new moniker ala Kool Keith (Dr. Octagon, Dr Dooom), Sev Love X (MF Doom). This is just weird. A complete about face from his earlier work. I don't recommend this to any fans of earlier material.
KJ 52 great Christian rap music better than any rap out there! Nov 6, 2009
If there is a kid in your life- or anyone of any age for that matter who loves rap music you need to get them a copy of this cd and also "its pronounced 52" "the yearbook with missing pages" and "behind the musik" I used to listen to Bone Thugs N Harmony and Insane Clown Posse obsessively I followed those bands big time, when I first heard KJ 52 in 2005 his album Behind the Musik at the end of the album I fell on my knees and asked God to forgive me and for Jesus to come into my heart, the next day I got rid of all my other rap cds. KJ 52 is really the only rap artist I listen to now as I have gotten really into contemporary Christian music mostly the older albums by artists like Michael W Smith and David Meece and Carman but I will tell you KJ 52 is the best rapper out there.
And You Get A Free Mixtape Thats Better Than The Album! Oct 10, 2009
KJ has done it again. I've been a big fan since the first release of 7th Ave and have seen his music change with Collaberations and Its Pronounced 52 to Behind the Music and Yearbook. This cd is a mix of the last 2 albums and 7th Ave (his best albums in my oppinion). It's more beat and street centered and less goofy and geared toward youth group kids. Don't get me wrong their are still a few goofy songs (KJ is a goof on all his albums) and a few songs dealing with growing up (and their should be) but for the most part the album is not like that. Also it's great to see KJ mixin it up again with Cross Movement (well Cross Movement Records actually) with Da Truth and JR and those tracks are Top 5 on this album along with Adventures Of Tweezy Man, which really kicks the album in gear and is my favorite. The story of Chris Carlino harkens back also to 7th Ave with its continues storyline being interjected every few tracks but what is better is you don't get the final piece of the story until you listen to the free downloadable mixtape. This Mixtape is for you and you can send it to a few friends for FREE! Personally I thought the Mixtape was better as a whole. Yes you get more tracks on the original cd and it is way longer but their are some cool tracks that are on the Mixtape that arent on the cd and the mixtape flows perfectly. If I had any real knock on this album and (no album is perfect)it was that most of the time the songs were to short either as a whole or the rap parts. In Short KJ does it again puting out a solid cd mixed with solid beats and solid lyrics about the Solid Rock, Jesus Christ. In my oppinion he is continuing with the third version of himself, Version1 7th Ave, Version2 Collaberations and Its Pronounced 52, and still Version3 Behind The Music, Yearbook, and Five-Two Television. Personally I like Version3 the best. Much respect to him in all that he's done and as a fellow 34 year old I hope he keeps on for a long time.
