If you love hymns sang the old fashioned way without frills or trills, this is the cd for you. I read an article that Alan Jackson made this cd for his mother. She should be honored and proud.

This is so great! My husband loved it! I love it too. It reminds you of your childhood and all those songs you grew up listening to. It is done with such a sweet spirit. He doesn't try to show off his voice. Just sings. Highly recommend.

being British I did not know what to expect on this album. Iam very pleased I made the purchase and give it top marks,its so peaceful and reasuring. In fact when I was a small child I went to Sunday School at an evangelical church and we sang these songs.......what a wonderfull link between your country and mine.
