As a Christian, I am deeply offended that Thomas Nelson would corrupt the Holy Bible by linking it to Walt Disney's "Princess" theme. This whole presentation is the absolute antithesis of everything for which our Judeo-Christian teachings stand. The idea that one has to be a "princess" in order to read and understand the holy scriptures is nauseating, to say nothing of the fact that this consumerist approach is totally against the gospel messages of humility and service to others.
Has Thomas Nelson no shame whatsoever? Nor the misguided Christians who buy this travesty thinking it's "cute?" I'm surprised that this site would be so shallow as to market something this offensive. | | |  | Great Bible for a little girl Apr 15, 2010 |

| I bought this bible for my daughter after she accepted the Lord Jesus as her savior. My little princess loved the look of it, What we didn't love is the terms used in it. While the KJV says that Adam knew his wife Eve and she conceived , this Bible will explain that Adam had sexual relations with her! I am disappointed greatly in this. I am not prepared to explain that to my 7 year old quite yet.... If you buy this be prepared for this statement every time the Bible says they knew their wives.... | | | | AWESOME Jan 8, 2010 |
| I bought this bible for my seven year old daughter and she and I both love it! Its easy to read and understand which is important at that age. Every night before bed we read our bibles as a family and the kids just enjoy it so much, they cannot wait to take them to church. The bible is cute and shimmery, it's just perfect for a little princess. I also like that in the back it has a page that says "special princess prayer" and it tells her to write down the names of the people and things that she most wants prayer for. I recommend this bible to any parents with a little princess that has love and passion for the lord or who may wanna know more about our awesome God.. | | | | Princess Bible Dec 26, 2009 |
